Home Chemco’s Vadodara unit is now operational.

Staged to be the number one PET Processing unit in the country, Chemco’s Vadodara unit boasts of high quality and perfection in PET processing.

This unit will be dedicated only for the manufacture of preforms using only high quality, high-speed machines such as the Husky’s. The plant is carefully planned and developed keeping the customer’s requirements a priority above all else. The plant will focus on reducing costs via energy savings and improving efficiencies in day-to-day operations. Reducing the Carbon footprint for itself and by default for its customers also remains one of the company’s highest priorities for this unit.

The unit being a green field project was taken up Mr. Ram Saraogi as a challenge, given the short timeline for production and supply. The entire Chemco team led primarily by Mr. Vaibhav Saraogi (Director) worked vigorously over a period of four months to make it happen in record time.

Some of the highlights of the unit are:

1. AA level testing machine –This machine will allow for the testing of preforms for fluctuations in ‘A’ levels. A requirement by Chemco’s largest customers.
2. High speed preform tester – A one of kind machine that will, at very high speeds, perform various tests on preforms such as – wall thickness variations, neck dimension, silver streak, presence of foreign particles or bubbles etc. This machine will allow for even higher frequency of batch checks, thus even further reducing the chance of getting irregular preforms. Being fully automated, it also removes the chance of human error during the testing process.
3. Class 10000 clean room – the prefoms are processed in a class 10000 clean room which includes a highly filtered air circulation, purification and handling system, completely dust free environment, double sided windows and partitions, three door conditioned opening mechanism, 24/7 video surveillance and a proprietary security system.
4. Video conferencing facilities – allowing our customers to speak to us face to face no matter where in the world they are.
5. Inventory management and tracking – using advancements in technology, the company promises advanced production planning and inventory management along with accurate backward tracking of material with pinpoint precision.

These are just a few of the steps Chemco has taken to ensure that our customers always stay one step ahead of their competition at all times.

The Vadodara unit will be inaugurated in a few months from now to communicate the beginning of the revolution in PET processing.
